Early this year, I had the privilege to attend a series of workshops conducted by Singapore comic artist Koh Hong Teng and writers Dave Chua and Oh Yong Hwee, organized by the National Library Board. We covered most of the basics of comics creation and our homework was to complete one comics story of 5-8 pages long on the theme of food. Here is my final product. Many thanks to the instructors, to Pearly from NLB for putting this together, and her unnamed colleague who gave my comic its title.
Enjoy.

Comics: Art in Relationship
I signed up for a free online comics course offered by the California College of the arts with Kadenze late last year (https://www.kadenze.com/courses/comics-art-in-relationship/info). It was quite an interesting experience. I've been drawing comics for a long time, but I've never taken a formal course in comics creation before. I've read many books, gone for workshops, even given workshops myself, but this was a new experience. Needless to say I was probably one of the more experienced students. If you're interested in learning to create comics, I highly recommend this course as a starting point. Here are some of the comics I created during the span of the course.
